Local Storage: Streak, coin balance, sound preferences, and session state are stored in your browser's localStorage and never transmitted to our servers unless you are logged in.

6. Third-Party Games & Embedded Content

Games embedded on ShawGames may independently collect data about your device, gameplay behavior, and interactions. This data is collected by the game developer, not by ShawGames, and is subject to the game developer's own privacy policy.

When you click "Play in New Tab," you are navigating directly to the game developer's website, which operates under its own terms and privacy policies entirely outside our control.

We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of the specific games you play, particularly before providing any information directly to a game.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

ShawGames is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.

If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will take prompt steps to delete that information from our records.

• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Supabase row-level security policies limiting data access
• Cloudflare DDoS protection and Web Application Firewall
• Passwords are never stored — we use Supabase's secure authentication with hashed credentials

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your Rights & Choices

Regardless of your location, you may:

• Access or correct your account data via the Settings page
• Delete your account via Settings → Delete Account (removes all associated personal data)
• Clear local data (streak, coins, preferences) via Settings → Clear Local Data
• Opt out of ad personalization via Google Ad Settings
• Request a data export or deletion by emailing feedback@shawgames.com

We will respond to verified requests within 30 days (or as required by applicable law).

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

For material changes, we will provide a prominent notice on the site. Continued use of ShawGames after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
