What it detects
It scans for the common invisible code points: Zero Width Space (U+200B), Zero Width Joiner/Non-Joiner, Word Joiner, the Byte Order Mark, Hangul fillers, no-break and narrow spaces, the soft hyphen, and more. Each hit is listed with its name and position.
Why hidden characters matter
Invisible characters can break code, corrupt passwords, throw off search and spell-check, or act as a hidden watermark that fingerprints where text came from. Stripping them gives you clean, predictable plain text.
